You're someone who enjoys a role where every day is different. You like getting out and about, meeting people, and seeing the results of your efforts. Whether you're delivering to a long-standing customer or tackling a busy day on the road, you're happiest when you're keeping busy and getting the job done. This full-time position operates Monday to Friday, 12:00pm – 8:30pm. Although there may need to be some flexibility in these hours as we commence the service.
You will be servicing the new Dunedin Hospital Outpatients Building, where you will be responsible for ensuring departments and clinical areas are fully stocked and prepared with the textile supplies required for the following day. You will also be responsible for weekly checking and servicing of our washroom services throughout the building. You will act as the vital link between the hospital and the Alsco Uniforms processing plant, helping establish and maintain a seamless service model in this brand-new healthcare facility.
Ko o kawenga | Your Responsibilities
- Service the new Dunedin Hospital Outpatients Building, ensuring all areas have the necessary linen and textile supplies
- Monitor and replenish stock levels throughout the facility
- Collect, pack, and transport soiled linen back to the Alsco Uniforms plant for laundering
- Maintain accurate stock control and service records
- Build strong relationships with hospital staff and customers
- Identify opportunities to grow customer accounts through upselling additional products and services
- Uphold Alsco Uniforms' high standards of safety, service, and professionalism
